OLGA ROBERTSON PHOTOGRAPHY is a sole-proprietorship, private business operating out of Magnolia and The Woodlands since 2010. I am a wife and a mother of three amazing daughters. My eldest recently graduated from OU with her masters, my middle daughter just graduated from UT and my youngest is currently attending TXST. My family and friends fill my life with love, laughter, pride & purpose.

My recent commissioned work has been in the specialized focus of Portraiture as well as Event photography. My personal style and approach is simply to bring out the essence of my client, by artistically creating timeless images. Photography gives both the technician and the artist inside of me a voice with which to create. I'm thankful to have been given this incredible life, where I can express my artistic side through the art of photography. I feel it is my creative vision and heart that create my works of art and illustrate the beatitude within my clients.

Prior to my photography career, my professional background was in the field of cosmetology. I have more than two decades of experience in hair, styling and makeup. Before I moved to the Houston area and started my family, I co-owned and operated Environique salon in Addison. I've had the pleasure of working alongside various talented HMUA, Directors and Photographers, in-salon as well as on-location. My freelance cosmetology work ranged from wedding, runway, pageant, print, video and television.

I love creating heartfelt emotions in photographs that not only celebrate who my client is but leaves them feeling beautiful inside and out! I invite you to schedule a professional portrait session with me, so that I may photograph you the way you were meant to be celebrated. I serve predominantly Magnolia and The Woodlands (just north of Houston).

I am available for local or travel for destination portrait sessions, commercial and event photography. If you would like to inquire or book my services, please fill out the contact form in the tab above. I'm looking forward to connecting with you and always happy to answer any questions!

As my professional work began to change direction, I found myself focusing my attention on  my purpose through my photography. I felt an urge to create meaningful works of art, something that would completely move me, but not define me. During the past six months, I started creating a variety of projects for myself without limitations from others. With the aid of a course study, I gained understanding and allowed myself to dig deep into my creative vision. However, the thought of building on a specific body of work in a series still feels somewhat limiting. I discovered a new perspective through my lens and was able to flourish creatively visualizing a variety of subjects. I was forced to be completely vulnerable and open to what moved me as I worked through the process of how I was going to express and capture visually the meaning of my images. My focus was to push my abilities with composition, objects, models poses, and light.  These photographic works of art are a testament to my creative truth without chaos. Being able to clearly focus on the beautitude and purity of each piece is as rewarding as the finished product. I followed and embracing what moved my heart and it was in a way a sense of purpose. I was no longer inhibited by desire and curiosity to capture life through a photographic lens. It's all in a way in which I focused on details and the meaning of my pieces.

Of the dozens of photographic works I've completed, I have several images selected for exhibition in various art galleries around the world. My latest printed group exhibition was in Mexico City, Mexico and Berlin, Germany. I have three upcoming exhibitions in Barcelona, Spain; Seoul, South Korea, and Melbourne, Australia.

In a couple months, I will be selecting one in each series that I will be offering as my signature Fine Art Prints in limited quantity. They will be personally signed and numbered editions, printed on environmental Hahnemühle archival bamboo-fibre fine art watercolor paper with my letter of authenticity. Custom framing will also be available.
